I prefer chunks of beef...not ground beef. It creates a richer, more flavorful soup. You won't find ground meat of any kind in my kitchen unless I'm making meatballs or meatloaf.

I grew up on this. We always had a garden and canned everything. Mom always used our own veggies. She also showed me to add a few pieces of bacon and a tbsp of sugar to cut the acid from the tomatoes. Can't have it without cornbread!

This is as close as I've gotten to my mom's vegetable soup and I've been trying for years! I made it with soup bones and stew meat, but otherwise followed the recipe.

Gave it a little kick. Added some A-1 sauce and a 12 oz can of V8. Didn’t need meat with beef stock unless just wanted to use up some! I’m a potato girl! More please!!

I had to added a few beef bouillon cubes. The taste had too much of a tomato taste for me. Other than that little tweak the soup was delicious and extremely easy to make. I was in a hurry and used frozen soup vegetables.

Picture doesn’t do it justice. But it turned out amazing! Didn’t really follow the measurements just did everything by taste☺️
